Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Newcastle, and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University. Ben was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and to the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia in 2005.

Ben began his career with O'Hearn & Bilinsky Lawyers in 1997 and became a partner of the firm in July 2007.

Ben practises in commercial and business law, insolvency law and family law.

Ben is a sporting enthusiast with a passion for mountain and trail bike riding, snowboarding and soccer.
